Finding amazing hair stylists and makeup artists can be tricky, especially here in Central Oregon. There aren't many of us out here in the Bend, Redmond, Sisters, Sun River, La Pine and Prineville areas but we are slowly creating a small but mighty beauty army and I have no doubt with how much this area is growing that more talent is to come!
Often times you will find stylists who offer to do both hair and makeup. This seems like an easy fix if you're a bride, but after 20 years in the industry, I can tell you that 90% of the time, the stylist is more passionate (or better) at one service over the other. It's also difficult to service large weddings when there is one stylist doing it all.
I have always lived and breathed for bringing out my brides' features with makeup. Hair styling is not something that I'm passionate about, and while I could do some styling in a pinch, I would never charge or offer this service. I know what I love and what I'm good at, and that is what I stick to. This is where my bevy of hair beauties come in.
